Even the most devoted Christians may fall prey to a powerful yet subtle temptation: the temptation to judge (condemn) others. But as believers, we are commanded to refrain from such behavior. The warning of Luke 6:37 is clear: "Judge (Condemn) not."
We are warned that to judge (condemn) others is to invite fearful consequence: to the extent we judge (condemn) them , so, too, will we be judged (condemned) by God. Let us refrain, then, from judging (condemning) our neighbors. Instead, let us forgive them and love them in the same way that God has forgiven us

Prayer from the blogger:
Father God, Judge of all, when you look at me you see all the sins I have ever committed. You also see all the sins I will commit. But you Father, You do not hold these against me, because, You also see the Jesus that is in me. Help me Lord to see the Jesus in others, and if He is not there give me the heart I need to introduce them to Him.
Amen

Read Luke 6:31-38
1. Think about the way you want your friends to treat you, is that how you treat those that are not your friends? Do you make fun of others? Call them out of their names? Pick on some because they are weaker or less fortunate then you? Do you treat them like crap because they are either younger than you or in a place of less authority? Or is it that they have offended you?

I thigh that as Christians we are to judge one another
ReplyDeletea believer can judge another believer, but a believer cannot judge and none believer. when we do judge our brothers and sisters we need to do it in a way where we do not put them down, but to redirect them to Christ.
