As you continue to seek God's purpose in your life, you will undoubtedly experience your fair share of disappointments, detours, false starts, and failures. When you do, don't become discouraged: God's not finished with you yet.
The old saying is as true today as it was when it was first spoken: "Life is a marathon, not a sprint." That's why wise travelers select a traveling companion who never tires and never falters. That partner, of course, is your Heavenly Father.
Are you tired? Ask God for strength. Are you discouraged? Believe in His promises. Are you defeated? Pray as if everything depended upon God, and work a if everything depended upon you. And finally, have faith that you play an important role in God's great plan for mankind - because you do.

Father we are so tired, and so discouraged, when, we labor to do what we should and fall short. We get the feeling of being defeated. Give us strength, and encouragement, remind us again that we are an important part of your plan.
