Finding (and Trusting) Mentors

A wise man will listen and increase his learning, and a discerning man will obtain guidance.
- Proverbs 1:5

Do you seek to be wise? Then you must acknowledge that you are not wise enough on your own. When you face an important decision, you must first study God's Word, and you should also seek the counsel of trusted friends and mentors.

When we arrive at the inevitable crossroads of life, God inevitably sends righteous men and women to guide us if we let them. If we are willing to listen and to learn, then we, too, will become wise. And God will bless our endeavors.

Prayer from the Blogger:
All knowing Father, thank you for Jesus, your Son, the source of all wisdom. Thank you for Godly men, who care about our well being. Godly men who direct and instruct form Your Word, Dear Father. Thank you for a humble spirit, that allows me to hear from these men. And finally thank you a spirit of obedience that moves me to immediate action.
Amen.
