For God So Loved the World

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

For believers, death is not an ending; it is a beginning. For believers, the grave is not a final resting-place; it is a place of transition. For believers, death is not a dark journey into nothingness; it is a homecoming.

God sent His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. Through Jesus, we are redeemed. By welcoming Christ into our hearts, we have received the precious, unfathomable gift of eternal life. Let us praise God for His Son. The One from Galilee has saved us from our sins so that we might live courageously, die triumphantly, and live again -- eternally.

Prayer from the Blogger:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of Jesus Christ, who suffered Your wrath in my place. Jesus, I believe that you have suffered the wrath of God, the Father, in place of me. I openly accept your rule over my life. Please Spirit, help me to be obedient to the commands of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Amen

  2. No, it is not true. The entire Bible is about God reaching out to His people. "...He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him will not PERISH, but have eternal life." That sounds to me as if forgiveness has been extended waiting for you to accept it. If God did not want to forgive then everyone's destiny would the lake of fire.
