A Faith Bigger Than Fear

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
- John 14:1-2

American clergyman Edward Everett Hale observed, "Some people bear three kinds of trouble - the ones they've had, the ones they have, and the ones they expect to have." How true. But a better strategy is this: accept the past, live in the present, and place the future in God's capable hands.

As you face the challenges of everyday life, you may be comforted by this fact: Trouble, of every kind, is temporary. Yet God's grace is eternal. And worries, of every kind, bare temporary. But God's love is everlasting. The troubles that concern you will pass. God remains. And with these thoughts in mind, it's now time for you to place today's troubles in their proper perspective.

Prayer from the Blogger:
Jesus, thank you, for while troubles come and go, you remain. As worries come and go, you are still here. You Jesus, are my comfort and my rock. In Your name I will forever trust and rely. Amen

    1. John 14:14 says if you ask me anything in my name, I will do it. So how is it that if we are asking in His name he would not do it?

  3. Sometimes people feel like he won't do something because if they had the power they wouldn't waste time doing it for themselves
