Go to the ant, O sluggard. Observe her ways and be wise: which, having no chief, officer or ruler, prepares her food in the summer and gathers her provisions in the harvest. How long will you lie down, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep? - Proverbs 6:6-9
The Bible instructs that we can learn an important lesson from a surprising source: ants. Ants are among nature's most industrious creatures. They do their work without supervision and without hesitation. We should do likewise.
God's word is clear: We are instructed to work diligently and faithfully. We are told that the fields are ripe for the harvest, that the workers are few, and that the importance of all work is profound. Let us labor, then, for our Master without hesitation and without complaint. Night time is coming. Until it does, let us honor our Heavenly Father with grateful hearts and willing hands.

Prayer from the Blogger:
Heavenly Father,
Give us the strength, to do the work that has been set before us diligently, thoroughly, and faithfully. Give us foresight to prepare for tomorrow. Let us not be like the sluggard or lazy grasshopper.
Amen
