The Joys of a Clear Conscience

Let us come near to God with a sincere heart and a sure faith, because we have been made free from a guilty conscience, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. - Hebrews 10:22

Few things in life torment us more than a guilty conscience. And, few things in life provide more contentment than the knowledge that we are obeying God's commandments. A clear conscience is one of the rewards we earn when we obey God's Word and follow His will. When we follow God's will and accept His gift of salvation, our earthly rewards are never ceasing, and our heavenly rewards are everlasting.

Lord Jesus,
Thank you for a clear conscience. Even more importantly, thank you because You sent the comforter, the Holy Spirit, who, directs us and lets us know when we are not in Your will. Jesus, You are AMAZING. And Your love for us never ceases. Praises to You and You alone.
